Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

I was invited to attend the Family Travel Forum at the Royalton Riviera Cancun in Nov. 2016. This was my second experience staying at a Royalton resort. My first stay was in Jamaica at the Royal White Sands, before that I had the opportunity to tour the Royalton resort in Punta Cana. I must say they are all different in their own way. I would have to say my favorite resort was the one in Mexico.

The lunch buffet is one of the best I have ever seen for an all_inclusive resort. Something for everyone. Loved the salad bar, so much to choose from with several different kinds of lettuce and so many veggies. I made a video, but the file is too large to post. Here are some of the dishes I had during my stay. The buffet featuring so many different meats that are cooked to order the way you like it. I am not a fan of buffets, but this one was an exception. They also have it for dinner.

I stayed in a roof top Jacuzzi room, which was amazing. Plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable.

This resort is only 10 minutes from the airport and about 20 minutes to downtown. It is a beachfront resort. 840 rooms, 12 pools, kids club (4-12), teens club (13-17), free Wi-Fi, 3 tennis courts, fitness facilities, beauty salon, laundry service ($) and a splash pad. This is a great resort for families, some rooms will hold up to six occupants, which is rare to find. They go fast, so it is best to book early.

There is an adult section called the Hideaway, which is another part of the resort for only adults. Great for wedding where adults prefer to have their own area with a swim up bar area.

The resort  has a roof top wedding location, gazebo or a beach wedding are some of the options for a Destination Wedding. Here are a few photos of the wedding areas.
